Job brief We are looking for an Appointment Coordinator to support our Automotive Service Department. We need a take charge person, capable of working in a very busy shop. The ability to deliver a world-class, customer service experience is a must. Knowledge of ADP/CDK is a plus but not essential. Warranty experience is a must. Knowledge of this type of position and the automotive service industry is required. Responsibilities

  • Greet customer in a timely manner. Establish positive rapport immediately and ongoing.
  • Answer phones, schedule service appointments and perform follow-up calls.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and team atmosphere at all times.
  • Completing all required paperwork and documentation for repair services.
  • Maintaining organized, clean workspace and accounting for dealership related to this position.
  • Develop and maintain superior product knowledge to effectively help customers with service and warranty needs.
  • Listen to the customer, answer their questions, and direct customers appropriately as they request.
  • Advise on recommended maintenance
  • Confirm scheduled & missed appointments
  • Respond quickly to customer phone calls, internet leads through online scheduling, and live chat inquiries
  • Perform other duties and tasks as assigned or required.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Must be punctual and reliable
  • Valid drivers license
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience.
  • At least two years related experience working in customer service roles
