Position: Patient Scheduler

Openings: 1

Location: Flower Mound, TX 75028

Duration: 3 month contract to hire, possible extensions

Schedule: FT M-F 40/hours

Pay Rate: $ 18-21 ($21 must have 3+ year exp)

Must Haves:

• Strong scheduling experience for physicians with multiple locations
• 2 years recent at minimum
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and scheduling software.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer service-oriented with a compassionate and patient-focused approach.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Plusses:

• Bilingual
• Additional education or certification in healthcare administration is a plus.
• Athena EMR System Experience

Day-to-Day:

The Patient Scheduler will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling patient appointments for their assigned physicians, managing patient records, and providing administrative support to the providers. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to travel between two facilities as needed.
