Part-time benefitted or Full-time; 20-35 hours per weekApplication Deadline: Open Until FilledPriority Screening: January 3, 2025 Position Summary:SUNY Ulster County Community College, a two-year branch of the State University of New York located ninety miles north of New York City in the Catskill Mountains, is currently accepting applications for an Apprenticeship and Program Operational Coordinator.The Apprenticeship and Program Operational Coordinator position reports to the Assistant Dean for Workforce, Career Development and Apprenticeship Initiatives and is responsible for apprenticeship management as well as the gathering of data for SUNY and grant funded programs. The Apprenticeship and Program Operational Coordinator also provides support to the Continuing Education program staff with the development, delivery. and assessment of education and training programs. This position is partially grant funded with funding scheduled to end September 30, 2026. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for course data maintenance and integrity using the College's management system and the various departmental databases and spreadsheets
- Maintain all non-credit remedial course data and report to SUNY for reimbursement; remain current with regulations and procedures regarding these courses
- Provide support on the administrative grants management through coordination of data collection and reporting
- Work with students participating in grant-funded programs to determine eligibility and collect student-level data
- Act as a liaison between SUNY Central and the College for the reporting of all apprentice and pre-apprentices.
- Support the administrative management through coordination of data collection. and reporting for Continuing Education programs
- Serve as a member of the SUNY team supporting student registration and class attendance and engagement.
- Participate as a member of the College team that assists all students, faculty, staff. and community members coming to the Kingston Center
- Identify and implement current best practices for community college administration relevant to this position
- Other duties as may be determined by the Assistant Dean for Workforce, Career Development and Apprenticeship Initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate Degree or equivalent credentialing and have at least 2 years of experience in a professional administrative role. Experience with databases, strong organizational skills. excellent written and oral communications skills and interpersonal skills preferred.

- Commitment to community college goals and objectives of providing quality programs and services for culturally, socio-economically, ethnically, and academically diverse students and students with disabilities; personal qualities to work effectively and with sensitivity in a multicultural environment; awareness of and commitment to the needs of non-traditional and/or re-entry students with diverse abilities and interests.
Salary:An initial starting hourly rate of $23.79 with an excellent benefits package. This position is contingent upon adequate funding.
