APRN - Florida Health Care Plan : Job Details

APRN/PA Provider Services Full-time 1st shift Variable days and hours. Travel required Summary Florida Health Care Plans, a large multi-specialty staff model HMO, is seeking an Advanced Practitioner to float between our Volusia County facilities. This position is 40 hours weekly, with flexible scheduling based on need. Either 5-8-hour days or 4-10-hour days, or 3-12-hour days and 1-4-hour day. There will be a mix of primary care and urgent care. Qualifications Advanced Practitioner / Physician Assistant Florida licensure Minimum 3 years' post licensing experience, working independently, in family medicine, urgent care clinics or a combination. Graduate of an accredited program, APRN, NP, or PA program Ability to treat Urgent Care presentations: (Chest Pain, Diabetes, Asthma, COPD, etc.) Foreign body removal Laceration repair, Suturing skills Abscess I & D Diagnose, treat, & splint fractures DOT Certification required within 30 days Professional examination experience (i.e. Firefighter's physicals, etc.) preferred Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience (good typing & computer skills) Worker's Comp experience preferred Great Customer Service and Communication skills with patients and their primary care physicians Compensation Details Competitive salary Annual bonus opportunity 401(K) Tax Deferred Plan Company Paid HMO Health Benefits for provider & eligible dependents Group Term Life Group Disability Malpractice Insurance Paid Leave Time CME Stipend Licenses, Fees & Dues reimbursed For immediate consideration email your CV to [email protected] or phone Lori Fletcher (386) ###-####.
