Date Opened: 2024-12-16Part-Time with Full Time opportunitiesFlexible schedule, Monday-Friday 8am-5pmno weekends; no holidaysBenefited position after 60-day waiting period.Position Summary: The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) will oversee Wound Care department 1-2 days a week part -time. Opportunity for fulltime role for the right candidate with opportunity for oversight with oncology and/or family practice.Willing to train the right candidate.Prior wound care or oncology experience not required.Job Duties: •Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing.•Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions, providing evidence-based care.•Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and the healthcare team.•Prescribe medications and therapies as appropriate, adhering to state regulations and institutional policies.•Provide patient education on disease prevention, health promotion, and self-management strategies.•Enter own provider orders and ensure timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR). .•Document all patient interactions accurately and timely in electronic health records with in 72 business hours, to ensure patient safety.•Assist as needed to promote services and grow practice volumes.•All other duties as assigned.Qualifications:•EDUCATION/LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:•Master's degree in nursing from an accredited program.•Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP).•Certification by a recognized national certification board (e.g., ANCC, AANP).•ACLS certificationExperience: •Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a registered nurse.•Completion and clinical rotation as Nurse Practitioner from an accredited program.We would like to welcome you to our team!
