Aquatics Director - The Boys' Club of New York : Job Details

Waterfront Operations & Safety. Set up, maintain, and break down waterfront facilities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Oversee all camper and staff water activities, including swimming and boating. Enforce safety procedures and conduct regular inspections. Maintain emergency action plans and train staff on protocols. Staff Training & Supervision. Train, supervise, and evaluate aquatic staff to ensure safety and policy adherence. Conduct regular staff meetings and provide ongoing support. Work with the Camp Program Director to develop a waterfront curriculum and special events. Equipment & Facility Management. Oversee maintenance, storage, and daily safety inspections of waterfront equipment. Manage inventory and supply requests in a timely manner. Program Development & Camper Engagement. Develop and lead engaging aquatic programs, including swim instruction and boating. Assess campers' swimming abilities and ensure adherence to waterfront rules.
