About The Role: Archipelago Companies is actively seeking a highly motivated individual to manage and optimize our online storefront across our international markets and broader Tradewind Services portfolio. The ideal candidate will lead the strategy for our international E-commerce businesses across CA, UK, AU, EU, and expanding international markets. Their goals will align successful P&L management for these markets centered on contribution margin, net sales and gross sales. They will be the go-to person for day-to-day management, ensuring operations are flowing smoothly across owned, paid, and web channels. They will work cross-functionally with the US teams for inventory management, technology, marketing, and creative and be the expert on communications in their assigned regions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and organizing product pages, setting up collections, managing inventory, and ensuring an optimal shopping experience. They will also handle page and theme building, search and filter optimization, and other merchandising efforts. This role requires familiarity with Shopify's Metaobject functionality for gallery creation and experience in maintaining and enhancing e-commerce user experiences. The ideal candidate should be highly motivated to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and have the ability to deliver measurable results while collaborating with other departments.   • Page Building & Theme Management
    • Build and optimize product, landing, and collection pages within our Shopify theme.
    • Ensure seamless integration of visual and functional elements to enhance user experience.
  • Product & Collection Setup
    • Set up new products, collections, and categories to ensure accurate and consistent representation across the site.
    • Maintain organized, SEO-optimized collections for emails and SMS campaigns.
  • Search and Filter Optimization
    • Optimize and regularly update filters to improve product discovery.
    • Enhance search functionalities to meet customer needs and drive engagement.
  • Inventory Management & Pricing
    • Manage product inventory levels and ensure accurate pricing across the platform.
    • Upload and update product data, including stock levels and prices.
  • Blog Updates & Content Management
    • Coordinate and publish blog updates to align with marketing and promotional strategies.
  • Metaobject Building for Galleries
    • Use Shopify's Metaobject functionality to create and manage gallery-style pages, supporting enhanced visual merchandising.
  • SEO Optimization
    • Create and optimize search engine listings for all collections and product pages, enhancing organic reach and discoverability.
  • Seasonal & Creative Updates
    • Refresh homepage and other creative assets to keep content seasonally relevant and aligned with brand marketing initiatives.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications, Skills, Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3-4 years of experience in e-commerce site and owned channel management.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to implement and learn new systems and process quickly.
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and other data analysis tools.
  • Effective presentation of information and strong verbal & written communication skills.
  • Goal-oriented, with high standards of honesty, ethics, and personal accountability.
  • Awareness of market trends and consumer tastes.
  • Prefer knowledge of lifestyle/footwear market.
Additional Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Shopify Merchandiser, E-commerce Merchandiser, E-commerce specialist, E-commerce generalist or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Shopify, including Metaobject functionality, page building, and theme customization.
  • Proficient in inventory and product management within e-commerce platforms.
  • Basic understanding of SEO and search/filter optimization techniques.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a keen eye for visual presentation and user experience.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with marketing and creative teams to align merchandising efforts with promotional goals.
  • Experience with email and SMS marketing integration.
  • Familiarity with seasonal and promotional merchandising strategies.

Location & Office Structure: This is an in-office hybrid position, mandatory 4 days per week in office in Irvine, CA with the option to work from home 1 day per week. Subject to change without notice as per company guidelines. Compensation: The salary range for this position is $66,560 to $79,000; salary is based on the experience that you bring to the position.
