Architect - LVI Associates : Job Details

The ideal candidate will be an experienced architect with expertise in designing and managing Higher Education projects. This professional will excel at creating comprehensive project designs, leveraging advanced tools like AutoCAD and Revit. They will have an in-depth understanding of the architectural process, from initial planning through construction, and will effectively collaborate with stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and present detailed architectural designs and plans for Higher Education facilities.
• Use expertise in engineering, materials, and sustainability to create innovative and functional spaces.
• Conduct site evaluations to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Manage the entire project lifecycle, including concept development, design, construction documentation, and oversight during execution.
• Lead collaboration with cross-functional teams, including consultants, contractors, and clients, to define project goals, timelines, and budgets.
• Perform quality assurance and quality control reviews to uphold design and construction excellence.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
• 5-10+ years of professional experience, with a strong portfolio in Higher Education design.
• Extensive knowledge of building codes, ADA compliance, and sustainability standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other architectural design software.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Licensed Architect (preferred but not required).
