Our Torrance branch is looking for a new Area Air Logistics Pricing Specialist to join our Air Logistics team.
Your Role
As the area air logistics pricing specialist you are responsible for providing, collecting, and validating airfreight rates for global and local client tenders, and spot quotes, with respect to Westcoast efforts.
Your Responsibilities
Complete requests per US pricing strategies under the guidance of US Pricing Management
Manage and compile area collection of local origin and destination and airport to airport
Support National and Regional Airfreight activities as necessary and directed by management
Track activity, win and loss of global/regional pricing requests
Quote, analyze and manage pricing for air import/export customers (existing & new) using software driven solutions
Maintain existing business and generate new clientele
Develop strong working relationships with carriers, clients (external and internal) and teammates
Report to Area Air Logistics Pricing Manager
Schedule Mon-Fri 8:00am-4:30pm (4 days in office/1 day remote)
Your Skills and Experiences
Bachelor's degree in supply chain or equivalent experience
3+ years Air Logistics pricing experience
Advanced working knowledge of MS office, primarily Excel (formulas, VLOOKUP, Pivot tables etc.)
