AREA COORDINATOR - Roses Discount Stores : Job Details

Position PurposeProvides courteous customer service, maintains merchandise displays, and performs departmental administrative functions to enhance overall customer satisfaction, sales, profitability, and store standards.Job ScopeThis position coordinates the work of Customer Service Associates. This position has no direct budgetary accountability.Essential Functions1) Provide positive customer service by treating customers in a courteous and knowledgeable manner in order to maximize customer satisfaction and sales.2) Guide and develop Customer Service Associates in the assigned area.3) Set and maintain features with proper signing.4) Place and maintain price removal labels in the correct location.5) Implement and maintain store signing programs consistent with Company policies and procedures.6) Maintain merchandise presentation within the department in a neat and orderly manner.7) Set and maintain planograms and seasonal flows within prescribed timelines.8) Coordinate the work of the Customer Service Associates in the assigned area.9) Complete PCA worksheets in a timely and accurate manner.10) Adhere to assigned work schedule in order to provide predictability in workload scheduling.11) Ensure associates in assigned area follow Company policies and procedures in order to maximize customer service, sales, and store profitability.12) Work with Pull Specialist to ensure count accuracy and in stocks are maintained.Ancillary Functions1) Price and stock planogram and feature merchandise as required.2) Assemble fixtures and change shelving as directed.3) Provide support to checkout and customer service areas as required.4) Provide support to store management as requested.Qualifications and Skills Requiredü High School Diploma or GEDü 1-2 years of retail experienceü Fundamental reading and math skillsü Ability to effectively communicate in EnglishWorking ConditionsRetail store environment where extended periods of standing are requiredOccasional lifting and maneuvering of merchandise and displaysOccasional use of ladders requiredScheduled work hours may vary, to include evenings and weekends
