They also perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, repairs, and modifications to airframes, rotors and appliances. Our Maintenance team maintains our helicopters to the highest standards possible. This opening is for an Area Mechanic. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSMinimum of 2 years of helicopter maintenance required (open to all rotorcraft experience)High School diploma or GED equivalentValid and current FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) requiredValid and current FAA Inspection Authorization preferredValid and current Driver's License requiredMust be acceptable in accordance with the FAA drug and alcohol testing programKnowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations, and of EMS aviation practices and requirements preferred.Maintenance experience on current AS350, Bell 206, Bell 407, EC130, highly preferredAvionics troubleshooting knowledge and basic electrical repair experience required.Heavy maintenance inspection experience requiredAircraft records systems knowledge required.Aircraft maintenance planning experience required.Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotations.Ability to perform scheduled and unscheduled helicopter maintenanceCapable of lifting 50lbs.Ability to travel and assist in the maintenance of company aircraft and equipment, as needed Why Choose Air Evac Lifeteam: As a national leader in air ambulance,is one of's(GMR) family of solutions.
