Role: Quality Control Manager - Manufactured Concrete & Aggregates
Location: Denver, CO (Relocation Provided)
Package: $120k-$140k (DOE)+ Profit Sharing (~10% of base salary) + Truck / Auto Allowance
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the quality control processes across multiple concrete plants & aggregate quarries.
- Implement and maintain quality protocols.
- Identify and resolve quality issues to ensure product integrity.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of facilities.
- Provide training to team members on quality standards.
- Analyse data and prepare reports on quality metrics and performance.
Requirements:
- Must have quality experience in the building materials industry - concrete or aggregates experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Materials Science, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Relevant certifications in quality control or assurance (e.g., ACI, ASQ) are a plus.
- Strong understanding of ASTM standards and other relevant regulations.
- Proficiency in quality control methodologies and statistical process control (SPC).
- Familiarity with laboratory testing procedures for concrete and aggregates.
- Willingness to learn; full training provided based on experience.
- Ideally have American Concrete Institute (ACI) certification.
- Ideally have Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification.
