Job Description :
The Area Schedule Lead is a critical role within the project controls organization, providing strategic, technical, and operational leadership to their designated area. The Area Schedule Lead will be the technical SME for scheduling in their area and will support the Schedule CW team and ensure thatall project schedule reporting meets or exceeds the expected quality. Area Schedule Lead will work directly with project teams to support monthly schedule deliverables, delay/claims management, commercial project health reporting, and driving project execution with a focus on speed to market. Area Schedule Lead will review and approve all EOT requests and support the Area Manager and Area Cost Lead on the review and approval of schedule related changes and support the proactive identification of schedule related risks. Leadership, communication, and organization skills are a must in this highly collaborative, analytical, and strategic role. This position will work closely within the DEC Business Controls team and various internal departments including Site Project Management teams, Pre-Construction, Contracts, Finance, Accounting, Sourcing and Operations Engineering.BA/BS in construction management, engineering, or equivalent. 10+ years of experience in scheduling, planning and project management for construction or real estate development programs. 5+ years of P6 and schedule analytics experience Experience leading review of contractor baseline schedules on large scale projects with aggressive timelines, complex scopes, and broad stakeholders. Experience working with the development of Program Schedules & collaborating with XFN partners to communicate program risks Demonstrated experience succesfully managing a team of co-located contractors/vendors Large scale mission critical and data center construction experience 5+ years of field experience is preferred
