Job Overview: The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing existing accounts, and achieving sales targets within the assigned territory. This role requires a proactive, strategic thinker with a strong understanding of automation solutions and a passion for building lasting relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy & Execution:
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the designated area.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Client Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including engineers, procurement managers, and decision-makers.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process, from initial contact to post-sales follow-up.
  • Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Product Expertise:
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of Robot Units' modular automation products and solutions.
  • Present and articulate product benefits and technical specifications to clients.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to tailor solutions to meet client needs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.
  • Utilize CRM tools to track progress and manage customer relationships effectively.
  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the industrial automation or related technology sector.
  • Strong understanding of modular automation systems and related technologies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
