Conceptual thinking and looking at the world a little differently is a must since you'll be working on ground-breaking travel campaigns and executing in mediums from digital and print to video and event activations. Our new Art Director feels at home in a fast-paced agency setting and is passionate about creating great work that meets client goals. • Striving to become a travel industry expert
• Designing comps, graphic elements and final deliverables
• Thinking idea-first and then designing whatever helps sell your idea
• Presenting work to the ACD and CD for approval
• Participating in client-facing presentations representing Creative
• Staying current on design, campaign and social trends
• Working with copywriters and other designers to foster an energetic, team-centered environment
• Being a self-starter and seeking proactive creative opportunities.
• Working closely with interdepartmental teams to ensure client goals are achieved
• Occasional out-of-town travel required

Qualifications

• Impressive portfolio with launched client projects
• At least 2-years work experience in Advertising or related industry
• Advanced understanding of design, conceptual ideation, and typography. Illustration skills are a plus
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant graphic design tools
• Strong time management, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
• Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced agency setting meeting deadlines
