Your Role The Art Director is a creative professional who excels at working both independently and in a collaborative environment. They will lead and collaborate with teams of photographers, stylists, hair, and makeup artists to create high quality visual imagery that aligns with the brands creative direction and vision. This individual will be a strong support to the Sr Manager, Art Direction in concepting, executing, designing, and editing needs for our ecommerce photography.

Your Impact - Works closely with the Associate Creative Director to maintain the creative vision for our ecommerce platforms
- Ensure that all visual content aligns with the brands guidelines and is consistent with the overall brand aesthetic
- Lead photo teams to create visually compelling and high-quality content for on-figure and still life product photography
- Manage high-volume and fast paced workflow
- Partner with production team to ensure productivity and accuracy
- Partner with post-production team in communicating retouch needs
- Lead photo crew consisting of photographer, model, hair, makeup, and styling. Manages a team of 8-10.
- Partner with Associate Creative Director on photo production and talent allocation
- Partner with fashion office team to ensure consistent execution of brand style needs
- Be fluid and flexible (will need to AD on-figure set as well as oversee still sets)
- Manage all updates to ecomm photography guides (both on-figure and still life)
- Stay up to date with fashion trends
- Identify key styling, photography, and hair & makeup trends of the season and how they can translate into our brand
- Drives and owns assigned projects. Ability to prioritize, manage project deadlines

What Experience Should You Bring To This Role - Be well versed in both on-figure and still life photography
- Must have strong collaboration skills and be a team player
- Remains agile and flexible to change
- Reliable, proactive and a fast learner
- Very strong verbal and written communication and positive attitude are required.
- Discerning eye for composition, photo editing, cropping
- Proficient in Capture One, InDesign and Photoshop.
- Graphic Design background required
- Highly organized, works quickly and excellent at multitasking
- Creative thinker who understands the creative process
- Strong portfolio with a commitment to produce outstanding work
- Be knowledgeable in fashion photography
- Ability to work within a collaborative team environment
- Ability to listen and act on feedback from manager for all office responsibilities
- High taste level and aesthetic required
REQUIREMENTS - Bachelor's Degree
- 4+ year experience in retail or brand in similar role
- Must have proven experience in photo art-direction for 2 years or more
- Graphic Design knowledge and know-how
- Proficient in Photoshop and Capture One
- Proficient in InDesign and ability to create presentation documents
- Relevant creative background
- Strong retail/fashion brand or agency experience desired
