These positions require teaching undergraduate students in a comprehensive program in the Fine Arts. Courses are face-to-face and appointed based on department needs each semester. Courses may include drawing, painting, printmaking, photography, graphic design, digital design, and/or art appreciation.Responsibilities:
- Teaching studio-related courses on an as-needed basis.
- Teaching in a studio and/or lecture format.
- Teaching foundational through advanced undergraduate students.
- Engaging undergraduate students in critical thinking, problem-solving, and theory.
- Upkeep of shared studio spaces.
- Work with diverse students, faculty, and staff.
Required qualifications:
- Applicants must hold a Master of Fine Arts in a Studio Art concentration.
- Teaching in a studio or lecture format.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
Preferred qualifications:
- Two years of college-level teaching experience, but not required.
- Evidence of a dynamic personal creative practice.
- Work collaboratively with other disciplines.
