This role will be instrumental in building and scaling our AI capabilities, from RAG pipelines to custom model fine-tuning for financial applications. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise in AI/ML with strong systems engineering skills and a passion for solving complex financial technology challenges.Your Impact at Stuut:Design and implement production-grade AI systems, including RAG pipelines, fine-tuning workflows, and MLOps infrastructureLead the development of intelligent systems for invoice matching, payment reconciliation, and financial document processingArchitect and build scalable data pipelines to support AI model training and inferenceDevelop and implement AI planning systems for automated financial workflowsDrive technical decisions around model selection, fine-tuning strategies, and system architectureCollaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate AI capabilities into our core platformEstablish best practices for model evaluation, monitoring, and performance optimizationContribute to building a strong AI engineering cultureWhat You'll Need to Succeed:8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 4 years focused on building production AI systemsExtensive experience with modern AI/ML technologies, including:Large Language Models (LLMs) and fine-tuningRetrieval Augmented Generation (RAG)MLOps and model deploymentVector databases and efficient retrieval systemsStrong programming skills in Python and experience with AI frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, etc.)Proven track record of building and deploying large-scale AI systems in productionDeep understanding of ML infrastructure, including training pipelines and serving architecturesExperience with data pipeline development and large-scale system integrationStrong background in backend systems development and distributed systemsExcellence in technical communication and documentationNice to Have's:Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related fieldResearch experience or publications in ML/AIExperience with financial technology or financial document processingFamiliarity with AI agents and planning systemsTrack record of open-source contributions to ML/AI projectsExperience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerizationKnowledge of financial operations workflows and challengesTool's You'll Work With:Core Stack: Python, TypeScriptInfrastructure: Kubernetes, DockerCloud Platforms: AWSML Tools: Weights & Biases, MLflowVector Database E.g.
