An acclaimed artist is seeking a skilled and proactive Design Assistant to support the creation of new works, exhibitions, and installations.This is a unique opportunity to work closely with the artist, assist in the creative process, and play a key role in bringing artistic visions to life using digital tools and techniques.Key Responsibilities:Assist the artist in conceptualizing, designing, and creating digital renderings for new artworks, installations, and exhibitions.Photograph artworks in the studio and retouch images to ensure high-quality visual documentation.Design and compile publications, project proposals, exhibition materials, and promotional content, ensuring consistency with the artist's vision.Work with galleries and institutions to provide digital graphics and materials for exhibitions, installations, and presentations.Maintain and manage an organized digital archive of artworks, exhibitions, and project materials.Regularly update and maintain the artist's website to showcase current work and upcoming exhibitions.Required Skills:Photography: Proficient in documenting artwork with a solid understanding of camera settings, lighting, and RAW processing.Photoshop: Advanced retouching skills, including masking, non-destructive editing, and color correction.Lightroom: Strong skills in batch editing, organizing, and enhancing photo sets to match the artist's aesthetic.Illustrator: Ability to create fabrication designs, and visual layouts for installations and exhibitions.InDesign: Experienced in design grids, data merging, and producing print-ready files for publications.Bonus Skills:Knowledge of 3D modeling or rendering software for conceptualizing installations and sculptures.Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP for website updates and custom design.Ideal Candidate:Quick to learn, highly organized, and able to prioritize tasks effectively.Able to work independently while being collaborative in a fast-paced, creative environment.Comfortable with tight deadlines and delivering under pressure.Passionate about art, design, and supporting the creative process in a digital and studio setting.Application Instructions / Public Contact Information:Please send a CV, portfolio/website, and a statement of interest.
