Job Summary: The Art Works Supervisor provides direct oversight to the Art Works program, provides supervision for the Art Works staff and volunteers. The position is responsible for providing a person-centered and safe environment for the Art Works enterprise by exposing and facilitating the creation of a variety of art media and allowing the clients to use their own ideas in creating art to sell. Provides training information and assistance to staff and volunteers so they can work effectively with the artists. Ensures Art Works cleanliness and maintenance of supplies and inventory management of participant supplies. Essential Functions:
  • Prepares for Individualize Plan of Service meeting and ensures the completion of all required documents.
  • Assists in the planning, documentation, and evaluation of Individualized Plan of Service as consistent with recipient's rights, contract compliance and accreditation.
  • Documents and reports on program activities, needs and results to include but not limited to program evaluation and attendance reporting.
  • Professionally and positively communicates with homes, guardians and other staff addressing issues and concerns in a timely fashion.
  • Maintains service supervision that includes consumer oversight, communications with referral agency/parents/support team exercising independent decision making.
  • Assists in monitoring program standards in compliance with CARF standards, recipient's rights, CMH and Goodwill policies and procedures. a) Working knowledge of CARF standards. b) Working knowledge of Goodwill policies as outlined in the employee handbook. Ensures compliance with agency and funding reporting requirements including contract documentation, program statistics and case files.
  • Maintains individual case records, program data and other records as needed. a) Ensures documentation is filed in designated locations. b) Ensures documentation is filed in 30 days. 9. Assists in preparation of program audits and monitoring activities.
  • Provides accurate billing information, to include Medicaid billing, for accounting system.
  • Maintains documentation of individual activity and submit reports to appropriate Workforce Development staff. 12. Responsible for immediate completion of accident report forms, unusual occurrences reports and or CMH incident reports. 13. Assist people in developing and implementing plans for entrepreneurial ventures. 14. Assist with customers in the store front, greeting customers, making sales and responsible for monies collected.

  • Assists with arranging staffing with the consumer and appropriate support groups and individuals.
  • Promotes and demonstrates cooperation and teamwork.
  • Attends weekly Job Coach meetings and special trainings.
  • Ensures documentation and compliance with CARF Standards.
  • Adjusts work hours to include early and late meetings, work schedules, and contacts at various locations.
  • Carries out additional duties as assigned by the Mission Engagement Manager or designee.
  • Education and/or Experience: Experience in Human Services or related field preferred. Experience in public relations, social work, or administration preferred. Experience working with persons with disabilities is helpful. Art background.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:English/Spanish bilingual is helpful. Experience working with persons with disabilities is helpful. A diversified job background is helpful. The incumbent shall:
    • Must be certified in First Aid/CPR/AED within 30 days of employment.
    • Be able to work a flexible schedule.
    • Have an acceptable driving record.
    • Have a driver's license and be able to drive from location to location.
    • Must have or be able to obtain a valid chauffeur's license.
    • Have a cellular telephone.
    Physical Demands and Work Environment:Must be able to bend, stretch, reach, and lift to 40 pounds, and be able to perform various job site duties with the ability to demonstrate work for training purposes.
