Responsibilities This job will be part of Keysight Labs, which helps Keysight be first to market, focusing on top opportunities and market trends that address unmet needs. Keysight Laboratories is focusing on the development of state-of-the-art analog, mixed-signal and Digital application specific integrated circuits (ASICs), and monolithic millimeter-wave integrated circuits (MMICs) and subsystems) that provide Keysight's test and measurement products with a competitive advantage in performance and cost. We have opportunities in Analog, Mixed-Signal and Digital design and ASIC test development. At Keysight Technologies, you will apply your IC design knowledge and experience to design ASICs that enable Keysight's next generation of measurement/test equipment. To identify what ICs are needed for current and future Keysight instruments you will be involved in system-level analysis to identify the needed IC performance respect to the overall system requirements. Qualifications
- B.S., M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
- 1+ years of experience in high-speed analog, mixed-signal, digital or IC test development using advanced semiconductor processes
- Excellent interpersonal, problem solving, and communication skills
- For Analog and Mixed Signal
- Strong background in analog and RF circuit design, and bipolar transistor design
- Strong understanding of fundamentals in microwave engineering, signal integrity and EM issues
- Solid understanding of the underlying devices and their parasitics, enabling creative design to push circuit limits
- Experience with schematic capture, simulation, and layout tools
- For Digital / DSP
- Strong EE fundamentals with experience in ASIC Design, DSP, digital architectures, and verification of large ASIC designs
- Solid mathematical background with fluency in DSP theory and digital design techniques
- Proficiency in software models and their usage in the design, verification, and programming of an ASIC
- Fluency with object-oriented programming
- For ASIC Test Development
- Understanding of digital and analog test methodologies preferred
- Hardware and software integration and debug experience with a desire for hardware board design and layout experience
- Experience with software development on Linux systems using C++ or similar development environment
- Must possess strong engineering and analytical skills with trouble shooting to root cause experience
