ASSEMBLER 1 - SPRINGS - 1ST SHIFT - Over Head Door Company of Amarillo : Job Details

** Assembler 1 - Springs - 1st shift**

New Entry level assembler of standard assembly operations of moderate range of components.

**Essential Duties:**

* Assemble product to specifications according to blueprints and drawings, BOMs and work orders

* Identify and inspect required components and set-up for assembly; may require the use of saws, cropper, truss mills, punch press and other hand and power tools

* Work within pre-deternmined time standards.

* Assemble doors to specification according to blueprints of average complexity, drawings, bill of materials and work orders

* Responsible for monitoring quality of raw materials and the manufacture of a quality product.

* Maintain a clean, safe and neat work area

* Clean and store tools and equipment properly

* Follow safety rules and regulations

* Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor

* Able to read and understand work instructions in English

* Preferred High School Diploma or GED

* 1-3 months related experience

* Read simple blueprints

* Read a tape measure

* Ability to operate hand tools

* Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure

* Frequent bending, pushing / pulling, reaching, and lifting periodically up to 100 pounds

* Regularly lifting up to 35 pounds
