Assembler - 2nd shift - Action Packaging : Job Details

Carmel, IL location for 2nd shift hours 2:30pm-11:00pm, Monday-Friday. Before going to 2nd shift, training will be done on 1st shift hours 6:00am-2:30pm, Monday-Friday. New hires are also eligible for a $1,500 stay on bonus! What you need to be successful at Opus Packaging:

• Must be 18 years or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedural documents
• Pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen
• Work safely
• Have good attendance
• Must be able to work overtime when needed

• Previous experience in warehouse or packaging environment
• Basic math skills
• Ability to properly use and understand the required measurement equipment including tape measures, micrometers and other tools as required by specific job

• Bend, reach, stoop, squat and stand for 8 hours
• Have good hand - eye coordination
• Occasional lifting of 50 pounds and frequent lifting of 10-20 pounds
• Understand machine set-up, machine runs, plant data entry, handwork or assembly assignments
