Assembler - 2nd Shift - Avalign Technologies : Job Details

Our employees are actively involved in the design, engineering and manufacture of technologically advanced medical devices that ensure that we meet our customer's quality specifications for each product we produce. We are seeking a skilled Assembler to join our team. The Assembler is responsible for ensuring all components required for the operation are staged and ready to complete the building of the instrument. The Assembler is also responsible for putting various components together in accordance with the blueprint specifications and all applicable work instructions to meet customer requirements. Shift: 2nd, Monday - Friday (3:00pm - 11:00pm) 15% shift premium for ALL 2nd shift hours worked!What You'll Do:

• Review production schedule for Assembly and verify Shop Work Order (SWO) has all components to complete operation.
• Gather all assembly items listed on Set-up Sheet (as needed) for the next job less components: Collets, Tooling, Fixtures, Centers
• Read and interpret blueprints and router to determine assembly operation to be performed.
• Operate equipment (press, torch, and various tools) to complete the assembly.
• Maintain accurate counts for both completed and scrap parts.
• Document any inspection requirements identified on the In-Process (IP) inspection sheet(s).
• Complete production paperwork and make required entries in the company ERP system.
• After operator line clearance/equipment teardown, clean and return assembly items to the proper storage area.
