Responsibilities: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Assembles electronic components, assemblies, subassemblies by working from samples, visual aids, prints, routing instructions and process sheets using appropriate tooling and machinery.
    • Verifies results to ensure conformance with requirements and performs rework as needed.
    • Continuous on job training of various processes and procedures.
    • Bonding with a variety of epoxies (sanding, polishing and grit blasting) of parts in preparation of installing and finishing assembly. Cleaning parts and electronic assemblies per Work Instructions.
    • Performs mechanical assembly operations in the build of motor assemblies using standard measuring tools and techniques.
    • Perform mechanical and electrical assembly operations on product of varying complexity in both ESD or non- ESD environment. This may include, but is not limited to basic soldering, hand tools, testing equipment, working with wiring, magnets, bonding, cleaning of various metals/materials. Use professional concepts and company/customer objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.
    • With appropriate oversight, exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining best results.
    • Service manufacturing equipment and tooling as needed, under supervision.
    • Performs other duties and responsibilities as required.
Qualifications: QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
  • High School diploma (or GED)
  • Must be able to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Solid communication skills (verbal)
  • Strong attention to quality, safety, and detail a must.
  • Computer literate, able to use computer system to pull up work instructions, drawings and outlook.
  • Ability to work in a fast pace changing environment.
  • Able to interpret and understand instructions
  • Ability to use hand tools (cutter, pliers, forming tools, screwdrivers, etc.)
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
  • This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by either ITAR or EAR U.S. export laws. As a condition to this job offer, in order to be employed in this position, you must be able to obtain an U.S. Government export license(s), as required by law.
  • Hourly Rate: $22.00. This is a union position.
