ASSEMBLER- HYDRAULIC PRESS - POLY-CAM : Job Details

**Summary**

Primarily responsible for quality assurance of machined and assembled product. Operate a variety of mechanical, power and hand tools. Fill and package product for all customer orders. Assist with inventory and assembly when needed. May be required to perform additional duties as assigned.

**Purpose**

To verify, package, and prepare all customer orders for shipping. Operate a variety of mechanical, power and hand tools when needed. Assist with inventory and shipping / receiving when needed. Assist with providing an accurate count of inventory shipments that are prepared and received to / from coders. Also, accurately pull parts for shop orders and return assemblies to stock.

**Essential Functions**

* Verify, assemble, and package orders for shipping.

* Improvise when there are obstacles within the assembly process.

* Assist with Inventory when needed.

* Assist with Shipping / Receiving when needed.

* Warehouse finish product

* Assist with receiving and preparing an accurate count of inventory shipments to / from coders in a timely manner.

* Maintain a clean and orderly work area

* Ability to operate a forklift.

* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

* Ability to operate a variety of mechanical, power, and hand tools.

* Accurately pull parts for shop orders and return assemblies to stock.

**Special Considerations**

The candidate must be personable and a team player. The candidate must be able to work in a team environment and be a self-starter. They should be able to work independently, act decisively, and yet willing to communicate with team members in a timely manner. Candidate must be 18 years of age to operate press. Also, should have organizational skills and keep a clean work station. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. They must have the willingness to learn and be trained. Previous warehouse experience is preferred. Must also be willing to work overtime when needed.

Work hours Mon-Fri 6:30am-3pm.
