**Description**
POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for the daily production and assembly of micro titer plates for use with MSD instruments in compliance with standardized operating procedures and practices in a GMP/ISO manufacturing environment. This is an entry level position that supports the manufacturing operations in producing and supplying the basis for all consumables production within the organization.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plate bottoms, top and adhesive assemblies
+ Manual and/or automated assembly
+ Maintain lot-to-lot consistency in plate assembly
* Maintain inventory levels for intradepartmental use
* Maintain operation levels for all equipment
+ Standardization of equipment daily
* Preparation of materials
+ Plate bottom cutting and testing (visual/electrical) for optimal performance
+ Execute plate plasma treatments
+ Execute plate (barcode) labeling
* Follow daily production task list to completion
* Team collaboration
* Specific duties may vary depending upon departmental requirements
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
* High school diploma or equivalent
+ Associates degree in Electronics or Mechanical disciplines, or similar equivalent preferred
* Minimum of 1 year experience in electronics manufacturing or related field
* Experience working in a regulated ISO/FDA (GMP) environment preferred
* Experience with diagnostic instrumentation, medical devices preferred
* Background in pipetting, dispensing chemicals and reagents preferred
* Experience with MRP or ERP systems is preferred
+ Experience with JDE is preferred
* Experience with cGMP and/or ISO certification is highly preferred
* A demonstrated level of consistency in performance and aptitude for managing additional responsibility and accountability are required for next level consideration

* Strong electronic fundamentals and analytical background
* Demonstrate an aptitude for learning and adhering to standard operating procedures and practices
* Ability to complete daily production task lists within standard operating hours
* Demonstrated ability to work with automated equipment
* Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills
+ Effectively communicate issues/problems and results that impact timelines, accuracy and reliability of laboratory data
* Proficiency in MS Office Suite and the quantitative background to advance this knowledge on the job is expected
* Ability to multi-task and work productively in a demanding manufacturing environment with changing priorities
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
* This position requires the ability to communicate and exchange information, utilize equipment necessary to perform the job, and frequent lifting up to 50 lbs
* Up to 80% of the day may be spent at a work station and/or in the cleanroom
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
