Assembler I - Crane : Job Details

Position Summary: To use a variety of hand and power tools, fixtures, work instructions and test equipment to perform a series of operations to correctly assemble/test mechanical and electrical devices. Principle Duties (includes, but is not limited to):

• Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes and procedures.
• Report problems with quality, processes, equipment and materials to Manufacturing Engineer.
• Use tools to make or repair parts and products
• Work with other members of the line or group in order to assemble products
• Meet all safety requirements of the company and industry.
• Identify any defective items and handle them according to established procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.

Essential Qualifications / Experience:

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to lift parts weighing up to 25 lbs. without assistance.
• Familiar with use of computers
• Attention to detail.
• Must have a basic reading/writing ability to read and interpret work orders and instructions.
• Willing to perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods of time.

Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour EOE/Women/Minorities/Veterans/Disabled
