We are currently accepting applications for an upcoming Assembler (1st Shift) need at our Renton location.Assembler ILocation: Renton, WAJob Type: Full Time, Non-ExemptSchedule:4, 10-hour shifts per week! Start Times at 4:30 a.m. or 5:30 a.m. (Monday-Thursday)BenefitsMedical (free employee only coverage and low-cost options available), Dental, Vision, Prescription, Life and AD&D Insurance, Company Sponsored 401k with Employer Match, Employee Assistance Program, Wellness Program, Tuition Reimbursement, Employee Discounts, 8 Paid Holidays plus closed (with pay) for a week during the winter break!Pay$20.30/hr - $24.00/hrPositionAs an Assembler I, you will perform according to takt time on a moving line or bench, performing finish assembly processes to mass-produce commercial aircraft composite products.Final Assembler will:Follow job traveler instructions to assemble parts using small hand tools, bonding adhesives and assembly jigs.Hand wraps insulation blankets, using utility knives, foam insulation, and insulation tape.Perform light sanding and abrading of composite, plastic, and some metal components.May perform some light riveting using rivet squeezes and pop rivet guns.Preferred Qualifications:Fine hand motor skills.Strong attention to detail.Excellent communication skill both written and verbal.Self-motivated and quick learner.Basic math skills.Understanding of process specifications.Computer SkillsUnderstanding of technology with the ability to learn new platforms and systems.Working ConditionsWhile performing typical duties of this job, production employees will experience the conditions noted below. PPE is provided to protect employees against physical harm or hazards in the workplace environment.Usually work indoors.
