**Assembler I - Production** Location **CA, Burbank** Department **Operations** Employment Type **Full Time** Crane Aerospace & Electronics supplies critical systems and components to the aerospace and defense markets. Youll find Crane Aerospace & Electronics in someof the toughest environments: from engines to landing gear; from satellites to medical implants and from missiles to unmanned aerial systems (UAS).

Crane Aerospace & Electronics is seeking an Assembler I -1st Shift in Burbank, CA.

Responsibilities :

* Assembles parts per manufacturing outlines in specified relationship to each other, using hands, tweezers or tongs. Bolts, screws, clips cements, or otherwise fasten parts together by hand or using hand tools or portable power tools.

* Units assembled may include mechanical and/or electronic assemblies.

* May frequently work at bench as member of assembly group assembling one or two specific parts and passing unit to another team member. Loads and unloads previously setup machines, such as arbor presses, drill presses, taps, spot welding machines, riveting machines that may be used in operations on the assembly line. Team member may be assigned to different work stations as production needs require or shift from one station to another to reduce fatigue factor.

Job level / Skills:

In addition to the duties and skills listed above, the following skills are required, provided that the individual is certified and applies them in the current assignment.

* Assembler

* Assembly Order Reading

* Blue print Reading

* Measuring Tools Reading (Calipers, Micrometers, Rulers, Pressure Gauges)

* Shop Math

* Understanding the sub-assembly process

* Run any machine with assistance

* Responsible for the product he/she assembles by using work instructions and measuring devices required on the job.

Minimum Requirements :

Experience & Knowledge:

* Current experience in assembling electro mechanic products.

* Must have the ability to read, understand, and follow blueprints, and all written work instructions and procedures.

* Must be able to use all hand tools, soldering irons, and all bench test equipment.

* Must be able to function and participate in a team environment.

Education / Certification :

* High School Diploma or equivalent.

Eligibility Requirement : This position requires access to controlled data or information and therefore only US persons will be considered. As a US Department of Defense contractor we are bound by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations ( ITAR ).

Working Conditions :

* Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to safety glasses, heel straps, and shop coats

* Must be flexible to work overtime and weekends as needed
