Assembler II - L.S. Starrett Company : Job Details

Job Summary:Responsible for assembling parts, wiring, and adjusting precision units to produce products at floor stations.Duties and Responsibilities:

• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements
• Read and follow drawings / instructions
• Assembles, tests and repairs precision components and units.
• Examines component parts for defects.
• Measures parts to ensure conformance to specified dimensions.
• Trims and smooth parts using tools to ensure fit.

Qualifications:

• Performs work under direct supervision.
• Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
• Possesses beginning to work knowledge of subject matter.
• Ability to complete work in multiple product assembly lines
• Ability to train new associates

Education Requirements:Preferred High School Diploma or GEDYears of Experience:Minimum 1 year of experience
