Job Overview: Assemble, fabricate, and test mechanical parts, pieces or products using a variety of tools and equipment according to required specifications in a specific area of a production line in a manufacturing organization. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Responsibilities:• Read, interpret and follow blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment(s) and products. • Utilize manual tools and pneumatic tools. • Maintain inventory of product in work stations. • Perform quality work checks to insure the product meets quality standards. • Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified. • Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes. • Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures. • Maintain cleanliness (5S) of work area daily • Participate in continuous improvement goals of the work site Requirements: • 3+ years' experience in assembly • Meeting Production quotas • History of quality of assembly • Ability to use various power (Pneumatic) hand tools (i.e.; power screwdriver, socket etc.) • Ability to understand blueprints. Core Competencies: • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions. • Capable of working in a fast-paced environment • Good Attendance • Computer literate • Professional Attitude and Teamwork Preferences: • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements:• This position will be fully based on site based • Must be Willing to work Overtime The starting pay is $24. This position is eligible for the LIP (Local Incentive Plan) of up to 4%.?The pay range takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skills; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
