Responsibilities:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Manual handling with placing cylinders in workstation.
- May use grinder to remove excess weld marks.
- May use hand held chipper to remove excess weld marks.
- May use air gun to blow off excess moisture and debris.
- May use impact gun to stamp codes into cylinders.
- May place and remove fittings from the cylinders by following appropriate protocol.
- May hang and remove cylinders on production line conveyor.
- Rejects defective parts, and marks defects accordingly.
- Works at different work stations as production needs require.
- Operation of lifting devices as needed.
- Looks for opportunity to get involved in safety, environmental, process changes and overall improvement efforts.
- Follows all EHS guidelines and applicable procedures.
- Read, understand and follow the Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and EHS Work Instructions.
- Report any unsafe conditions or incidents in a timely manner to their supervisor or any member of management.
- Shut down process if unsafe.
- Follow proper machine shutdown procedures.
- Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
