Assemblers will follow verbal and written instructions to perform intricate building tasks by hand or with tools. People with an eye for detail and a positive attitude should apply and become a member of the SENSIT team today! Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Build gas leak detectors using hands or tools in a timely manner
  • Follow production assembly manuals
  • Work with other team members to assemble products
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
  • Report to work regularly and on time
  • Maintain ISO and other quality standards to consistently provide product that meets customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements
  • Perform other related duties and tasks as required
Education & Experience:
  • Graduated from an accredited high school or obtained a G.E.D. Certificate
  • Experience in a manufacturing or related environment preferred
Skills and Knowledge:
  • Critical thinking
  • Effective communication
  • Ability to learn and retain assembly processes in a timely manner
  • Ability to work independently and/or operate as a member of a team effectively
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
  • No smoking within eight (8) feet of building
  • Normal manufacturing conditions
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods (up to 6-7 hours) of time
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods (up to 6-7 hours) of time
  • Ability to lift and carry up to fifty (50) lbs.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive hand motions for extended periods of time
Work Schedule:
  • Hourly position
  • 40-hour work week
  • 8-hour shift, longer hours when required
  • Monday to Friday, 6am to 2:30pm
