Assemblers are responsible for the assembly and testing of actuators by following safety procedures, reading and completing quality documentation, and by following engineering drawings and completing testing procedures. A strong mechanical aptitude is necessary to be successful. This position works in a manufacturing environment and provides and provides hands on support to the Operations Department to meet production needs. Key Responsibilities Include: • Possess necessary computer skills including MRP/ERP SYSTEM, Outlook email • Demonstrate willingness to learn new skills and incorporate the use of new equipment • Read/understand blueprints, specifications or other design documents • Adhere to all Company EHS, Quality, and HR policies and procedures • Clean products, including removal of coatings, corrosion, or dirt using approved cleaning materials • Bending Tubing per design during the assembly of actuators • Setup actuators for testing. Including any necessary wiring and pneumatic connections as necessary. • Maintain a safe and clean work area • Operate company vehicles, fork trucks, cranes, and lifting equipment as required • Participate in process improvement and problem-solving initiatives • Operate hand tools as needed to perform deburring and grinding tasks • Perform general labour work • Ability verify operation of and troubleshoot actuators during assembly and testing Qualifications include:
