The Fluid End Assembler will be responsible for reading schematics, inspecting fluid end parts, cleaning, deburring and verifying dimensions and, assembling and testing fluid end components. Your expertise will ensure that these components meet rigorous quality standards and perform reliably in their applications.

Requirements:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assembly: Assemble fluid end components and assemblies according to engineering specifications and blueprints. Ensure all parts fit together correctly and operate smoothly.
  • Inspection and Testing: Perform detailed inspections and tests on assembled fluid ends to verify their functionality and compliance with quality standards. Use precision measuring instruments and testing equipment to identify any issues.
  • Component Preparation: Prepare and inspect individual parts for assembly, including cleaning, deburring, and verifying dimensions.
  • Documentation: Accurately complete assembly and inspection documentation, including checklists, reports, and quality control records.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and address any assembly issues or defects. Work with engineering and quality control teams to resolve problems and implement corrective actions.
  • Tool and Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and calibrate assembly tools and equipment to ensure proper functioning and accuracy.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in training and suggest improvements to assembly processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and product quality.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Technical certification or vocational training in mechanical assembly or a related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience in mechanical assembly, particularly in fluid end or similar components, is preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructions.
    • Strong attention to detail and precision in assembly and testing.
    • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
    • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues effectively.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and attention to detail.
