Job Title: Assembler
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assembler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling various attachments and products, following detailed instructions, and utilizing hand and power tools. You will also be required to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
Responsibilities
Assemble various attachments and products
Follow detailed instructions
Utilize hand and power tools
Visually inspect parts prior to assembly
Set up and prepare jobs for assembly
Check part availability on computer and obtain parts from inventory
Use assembly tooling such as presses, drill machines, testing fixtures, and assembly fixtures
Apply Loctite, grease, epoxy, etc., as specified per assigned work instructions
Assemble products according to special handling instructions as required
Thoroughly clean and prepare product surfaces for labeling using acetone
Apply proper labeling
Maintain and clean work area, including removing trash, wiping down table tops, and cleaning floors
Rework failed products as necessary
Essential Skills
Experience with hand and power tools
Attention to detail
Ability to lift 50+ lbs
Experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience with mechanical assembly and production

Work Environment
Our facility manufactures essential connections and attachments for first responders and monitors for fire trucks to remove carcinogenics from the air. The facility is clean and well-organized but not temperature controlled, so it can get warm in the summer and cold in the winter. Employees are allowed to wear knee-length shorts. This position requires standing for extended periods, lifting heavy objects, and wearing steel-toed shoes.
