An Assembler is needed for one of the world's largest suppliers of aerospace and defense products in the Everett, WA area. This job involves assembling, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing components and sub-assemblies, ensuring quality control, and performing soldering with technical precision, requiring IPC-T-STD-001 solder certification and the ability to interpret technical instructions.

responsibilities:

+ Assemble manufactured materials, components, and sub-assemblies.

+ Ensure accuracy of the Bill of Materials (BOM) for assembly.

+ Verify that assembled products meet all design specifications.

+ Perform testing on various components to ensure quality control.

+ Record actions and results on production forms.

+ Support testing, troubleshooting, and repairing of printed circuit boards (PCBs) and sub-assemblies.

+ Troubleshoot issues down to the board or component level.

+ Repair components as needed.

+ Perform soldering and de-soldering of through-hole and surface components as required.

+ Look up, read, and understand technical work instructions, drawings, and specifications.

+ Disassemble and rework parts and assemblies as needed.

+ Ability to stand for long periods during work.

Requirements:

+ High school diploma or GED required (4 years of relevant experience can substitute).

+ Must have IPC-T-STD-001 solder certification.
