Must be able to identify differences in standardized work instructions and inconsistencies in parts and be willing to stop the line. Must qualify on at least one task and the upstream and downstream tasks. Must be able to use Air Tools. Must be able to bend, lift, and stand for long periods of the time (2 hours). Responsible for maintaining area cleanliness in accordance with 5S principles.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)* Assembles fabricated parts at floor stations.* Assemble parts in accordance with standardized work instructions.* Stop the line due to Safety or Quality.* Qualify on at least one task and the upstream and downstream tasks.* Maintain area cleanliness in accordance with 5S principles.* Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.* Uses hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications.* Identifies units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repairs as necessary.* Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.* Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.* Works under immediate supervision.* Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.* Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE and EXPERIENCE* H.S.
