The Mechanical Assembly Technician provides the highest quality work ethic and character for assembling the Maag family of equipment to include: Dryers of all sizes and TWS systems with an emphasis on hitting customer delivery dates. Position description Tasks, responsibilities, competencies Assemble dryer rotors and housings. Balance rotors on all size dryers. Build and mount dryer component parts such as agglomerate catchers and pellet diverter valves. Perform leak tests on dryer and tank housings Engrave equipment name plates. Fills out check sheets while assembling the equipment. Put together piping assemblies. Other tasks as assigned by manager. The incumbent considers all interests of quality, accident prevention and occupational safety as well as environmental safety in a preventive manner within his scope of responsibility and supports the avoidance of damages to people, facilities, assets, material and environment actively.
