Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is looking for you to join our team as an ASSEMBLER MECHANIC C based out of Sunnyvale. PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Prepare and assemble various marine components and products where methods, sequences and tooling are normally established.

TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT:

Floor operated cranes, grinders, sanders, banders and saws; assembly jigs, fixtures and tooling, powered hand tools, expander, drill press, saws, pipe bender, power forklift, chainfalls, jacks. Hammers, wrenches, pliers, screwdrivers, drills, taps, reamers, torque wrenches, micrometers, feeler gages, calipers, squares, level, gages, tapes, safety glasses and gloves, marking and lapping stands, etc.

MATERIAL:

Turbines, gears, oil sumps, heat transfer apparatus, turbine generators, special products, rotors, diaphragms, blade rings, valves, main assemblies, component parts, and subassemblies, piping, flanges, reservoirs, pedestals, oil, steam, chemicals, solvents, water, rags, tape, etc.

**Qualifications**

**Basic Qualifications:**

* H.S. Diploma or GED

* Ability to obtain and maintain a government issued security clearance

**Preferred Qualifications:**

* 1-2 years of work experience as an Assembler or Mechanic
