General Job Summary: Responsible for assembly/packing of sheet metal components of small or medium sized parts, fitting and/or adjustment of inter-related parts and/or assembly based on written specifications. • Follows all safety processes and procedures in accordance with job and Company requirements.
• Following specific written instructions and/or blueprints, assembles components into finished product.
• Disassembles and re-builds products per specifications.
• Conducts quality checks following quality process instructions.
• Pack and labels product following packaging instructions.
• Ensures that the work area is clean, orderly, and safe.
• Work in packaging as needed, including packing large assemblies or parts.
• Inspect parts for defects or damage prior to packing.
• Make boxes, apply labels, verify counts, and follow packing instructions.
• Follow directions on packing from Packaging Lead.
• Assists with other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
