As 100% employee-owned, we continue to grow and are in search of driven individuals who desire an opportunity to grow their career.The Assembler ensures the safe, precise, and efficient assembly of wood and metal components according to design measurements and specifications.Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Accurately place pre-cut wood component members onto jig in accordance with design measurements and specifications.
- Join wood component members together utilizing staple gun.
- Accurately measure dimension to ensure accuracy and quality of build in accordance with design.
- Place metal connector plate components at joints for permanent application in accordance with design.
- Ensure the product is constructed accurately, adhering to safety and quality standards.
- Send finished product to packaging/shipping section of the production line.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
- Ability to read or learn to read a tape measure.
- Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
