Job DescriptionAssemblerContract. 24/hr.Ashburn, VA Job Description The Assembler is responsible for the precise assembly of cables, subassemblies, and final assemblies, adhering to provided drawings, work instructions, and shop floor travelers.This role demands a solid understanding of assembly tasks and the ability to apply skills across various assignments.The Assembler will utilize tools, machines, and the SAP-ME system to efficiently complete builds, meeting CPI times and maintaining high quality with minimal errors. Additionally, the Assembler may train others, perform in-process inspections, and program devices as needed.Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, with 2-4 years of experience in mechanical/electrical assembly or similar vocational training.
• Basic understanding of blueprint reading and the MID/WIP Database.
• Proficient in using tools, machines (e.g., arbor presses, crimping machines), and the SAP-ME system.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds, stand for extended periods, and dexterously handle various parts.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• IPC solder skills are preferred.
• Must be a US Citizen.
