Assembly and Repair - Vector Technical : Job Details

Assemble all tools and subassemblies as needed for customer orders. Verify that tools are operating to specifications as set out by engineering, and have all accessories and safety features required by company for that individual tool. Able to use tachometers and dynamometers as appropriate to insure tools are operating to specifications. Report any shortages or potential shortages of parts in the approved manner. Repair any tools that come in for repair. Insure that repaired tools are clean, operating correctly, and meet all safety requirements before sending back to the customer. Communicate to engineering any quality or design issues that arise based on wear or breakage of repair tools. Repair returned tools to new condition, or strip them for any usable parts or subassemblies. Communicate quotes, maintenance issues, and safety concerns with customers when performing repairs.
