Job Title: Assembly CJob Code: 11016Job Location: Mason, OhioSchedule: 9/80POSITION SUMMARYAs an Assembler C you will be responsible for a variety of assembly operations tasks-assembling precision electro-optical semiconductor components, welding, and soldering under levels of optical magnification. Soldering components, configuring cabling, and configuring wires)Support group objectives for on-time deliveryAssemble mechanical and/or electrical components for customer deliverablesVerify use of most updated proceduresFollow industry standard or practice for 6SPerform torque training, inspection of hardware, and mechanical assemblyCrimping cables with a wide range of tools (ex. Hand crimping tools).Assist is guiding peers in completing daily tasksQUALIFICATIONSRequires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience OR 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.2 years or more experience in proficient computer skills, including ability to navigate email and Microsoft office.2 years or more experience in reading and following drawings and work instructions.2 years or more experience with the use of basic hand tools such as screwdrivers, plyers, wire strippers, etc.2 years or more experience in using a microscope for long periods of time.2 years or more experience in spraying coating on PWBs.Must be a United States Citizen.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSProlonged sitting at a desk and working on a computerMust be able to lift up to 15 pounds at timesProlonged standingMust be able to move from lab to lab and inside the lab that you are located in2 years or more experience in effective communication.L3Harris Technologies is proud to be an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer.
