Our Machine Assembler position is the first of its kind where the work is done in a production environment and the finished product seen by others. The position is based on a continuous production line that produces both standard and custom products.Role:The Assembly Clincher role of the position is to work within a team to assemble products using a small 2lb hand held piece of equipment to staple filter bags together according to standard assembly procedures, while adhering to customer specific assembly instructions for custom products.Responsibilities:Verify that all parts meet quality standards and are properly attachedEnsure that all work areas are clean and safe for children or anyone elseMaintain a high level of quality throughout the operationPerform all duties in a timely manner for a busy production lineCheck all work areas for damage during each shiftCheck all product for quality defects before each step of assembly processCheck all finished product for quality defects before each step of export or retail sale inspectionComplete all daily paperwork required by your supervisor including daily safety paperwork or weekly inspection resultsQualifications:High School Diploma/GEDAbility to read and understand instructions in EnglishAbility to add, subtract, multiply, divide, use decimals and percentagesUse a level to ensure accurate measurement of items being assembledAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Must be able to stand for a 10 hour shiftMust possess attention to detail
