Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and/or visual factory. Operates industrial production and processing machinery in a safe, clean, and efficient manner.Responsibilities:- Executes assembly sequence duties consistently meeting productivity and quality expectations- Assemble parts according to work instruction, verbal instruction, drawings, and/or diagrams- Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements- Loads materials and products into package processing equipment; weighs materials to ensure compliance with specifications- Obtains, moves, sorts, and labels material, and containers- May operate production machineryQualifications/Requirements:- High school education or GED preferred- MUST be able to pass a drug screening and background check- Minimum 3 months experience working in a production environment- Reliability and attendance are VERY important.- This position may require you to stand the entire shift.- Ability to read, understand, and navigate through online assembly process documents- Understanding of basic math skills - adding, subtracting and measuring- Ability to read drawings & blueprints- Ability to safely utilize assembly tools as appropriate for the successful completion of production tasks- Ability to communicate and follow instructions effectively both verbally and in written format- Ability to use judgement related to identifying potential safety hazards- Ability to multi-taskPhysical Demands:- This position requires 20% clerical and planning and 80% material handling, production assembly machine operations, and/or walking and assisting production employees- Work is primarily performed on the manufacturing floor where noise levels may be moderate or high and hearing protection may have to be worn- Eye and foot protection may have to be worn- Lifting of weights up to 30 pounds may occur regularly, with a potential for lifting weights of up to 45 pounds on an occasional basis.- There is potential exposure to extreme temperatures-The occasional physical demands of the position include climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, grasping, and eye/hand/foot coordination- May stand or sit for prolonged periods of timeBenefits Available to Eligible Express Associates:- Medical Plan- Dental Plan- Holiday Pay (6 Days Observed)- 401 (k) Retirement Savings Plan- Vision/Eyewear Plan- Life Insurance- Prescription Drug Reimbursement- Short-Term Disability- Referral BonusesExpress Office: Lynnwood19009 33rd Ave W Ste 204Lynnwood, WA 98036425-###-#####ExpressProsLynnwoodWA #2592LIExpress Office: Lynnwood19009 33rd Avenue WestSuite 204Lynnwood, WA 98036
