Summary:Performs as a working lead in the Finishing department. Leads workflow, schedules, and plans for labor distribution on a daily basis. Makes daily decisions regarding productivity, quality and employee management.• Accountable for machinery and personnel.• Plans, schedules, and coordinates work for the Finishing/Utility staff.• Maintains appropriate departmental records.• Promotes safe working practices, monitors corrective actions and provides feedback to employees.• Monitors manufacturing processes to ensure optimum efficiency, quality, and production.• Participates in departmental meetings as necessary.• Occasionally troubleshoots equipment and process problems.• Perform general inspection and sorting needs throughout the plant in accordance with all safety standards.Competencies: • Attendance/Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time, leads by example.• Positively influences others.• Strong attention to detail • Process Improvement• Ability to communicate verbally• Exercises good judgment, makes business decisions.Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
