Job Description :

Responsibilities / Tasks

  • Reconfiguring new valves for customer orders (Changing control tops, seals, housings, actuators etc)
  • Control top reconfiguration (24VDC to ASi, adding solenoids etc)
  • Repair of control tops returned by customers for warranty and paid repair
  • Repair of valves returned by customers for warranty and paid rebuild.
  • Repair and testing of centrifugal and positive displacement pumps
  • Configuring and testing demo valves for use in customer trainings
  • Assistance with valve & pump warehouse cycle counts/inventory checks
  • Travel with Service team to assist with larger jobs when needed. Travel 25-50%
  • Assisting with hands on customer training events in Janesville
  • Assembly & testing of new pump assemblies
  • Conduct product maintenance training sessions at customer site
  • Onsite startup & commissioning support of new equipment projects
  • Remove, rebuild & calibration of GEA valve and pump equipment
  • Onsite troubleshooting of customer equipment

Your Profile / Qualifications

Skills & Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in configuring, testing, and repairing valves and pumps.

Experience with control tops, solenoids, and actuators is highly preferred.

Familiarity with both centrifugal and positive displacement pumps.

Knowledge of electrical systems (e.g., 24VDC, ASi systems) and solenoid configuration is a plus.

Problem-Solving:

Ability to diagnose and repair both mechanical and electrical issues efficiently and accurately.

Customer-Focused:

Enthusiastic about helping customers with timely repairs and technical support while providing superior service.

Travel Flexibility:

Willing to travel 25-50% to customer sites, both domestically and internationally, to support large service jobs.

Team Player:

Collaborative spirit with a willingness to assist team members and contribute to large projects.

Training Experience:

Experience assisting with customer training events is preferred, but not required.
